Sterling Anderson, M.D.
Dr. Sterling Anderson is a fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician specializing in the treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. Dr. Anderson utilizes a comprehensive approach to pain management that includes medication management, pain psychology therapy, basic and advanced interventional procedures, and regenerative therapies. He is committed to developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving function, restoring quality of life, and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.
Dr. Anderson was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and attended medical school at VCOM-Auburn. He completed his anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
He married his high school sweetheart, Frances Anderson, in 2019. They currently have two children, Sterling and Mae, as well as a mini Goldendoodle named Sam. Dr. Anderson enjoys all types of sports, especially football, English soccer, and golf. When he is not at work, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, spending time at Lake Martin or the beach, and attending sporting events.
