Katherine Daugherty

Katherine Daugherty, a native of Birmingham, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020. She then spent five years as an RN in the Trauma Burn Intensive Care Unit at UAB. During her time there, she decided to advance her education and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at UAB. Katherine is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Katherine is excited to care for those in the city she grew up in. She believes that pain management is about treating the patient in a holistic manner and strives to treat each patient like her own family.

Away from work, Katherine enjoys reading, traveling to the lake, taking her golden retriever on walks, and spending time with her growing family.
